Continuing an experiment that began during last year's draft, the NFL announced Monday that prominent alumni from each franchise will be announcing the picks on day two of the 2012 NFL Draft. In St. Louis' case, former Rams wide receivers Isaac Bruce and Torry Holt will be doing the honors.
The NFL disclosed Monday that 33 of its alumni — one for each team and two for the St. Louis Rams — will announce each second- and third-round pick on Friday’s second day of the draft. The league began this approach last year and hopes to make it an annual tradition.
Bruce and Holt were major contributors to the "Greatest Show On Turf" in St. Louis and helped the Rams reach the Super Bowl twice.
