It's been presumed that the St. Louis Rams will draft Oklahoma State wide receiver Justin Blaylock with the sixth overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft ever since St. Louis decided to make a deal with the Washington Redskins to trade out of the No. 2 overall pick.
Blackmon-to-St. Louis remains the likely scenario heading into the first round on Thursday night, but depending on what the Minnesota Vikings do with the third pick, there is a chance USC offensive tackle Matt Kalil could still be available for St. Louis at No. 6. If that were to happen, Steve Muench of Scouts Inc. believes the Rams would have to pull the trigger on the o-line help.
"Kalil has to be the pick if he's there," Steve Muench of Scouts Inc. said during our final NFC West conversation Tuesday.
