2012 NFL Draft: St. Louis Rams Coach Jeff Fisher Says Brocker Was Worth It At 6th

St. Louis Rams Head Coach Jeff Fisher admitted in an interview after the NFL Draft Thursday night that he was planning on picking Michael Brocker sixth before trading it to the Dallas Cowboys. He also suggested that he was targeting Oklahoma State wide receiver Justin Blackmon just before he was selected in the fifth spot by Jacksonville.

"We took advantage of needs around the league and got a great pick in the 2nd round from the Cowboys. and we were able to get a guy we considered at pick six." said coach Jeff Fisher.

The Rams will have three picks in the Second Round on Friday. All three picks come within the first 13 selections of the round including the first pick of the day. The Rams have many holes to fill and Fisher feels there will be many quality players to choose from, all the way through the end of the third round.
