NFL Mock Draft 2012, Round 2: Rams Select Glenn, Jenkins And David In Mel Kiper Mock Draft

The latest mock draft from prospect guru Mel Kiper forecasts the St. Louis Rams will use their copious second rounds picks to select G Cordy Glenn (No. 33 overall), CB Janoris Jenkins (No. 39) and LB Lavonte David (No. 45).

Glenn would presumably help build upon an offensive line that led the NFL in sacks with 55, good for third worst in the league with a 9.1% sack rate. ESPN rates Glenn as the third-best tackle in the draft with a 91 scouting grade.

Jenkins, meanwhile, comes with top-tier talent and top-concern off-the-field problems:

39. St. Louis Rams (from Washington)

Janoris Jenkins, CB, North Alabama

Somebody has to take the plunge on Jenkins' talent, which is top-10 worthy.

David rates as the second-best outside linebacker in the draft with a good history of production, though not overwhelming speed.

The second round of the NFL draft continues Friday night, starting at 6:00 p.m. CDT.
