Television talking heads will spend most of Saturday's Day Three of the 2012 NFL Draft discussing the picks and storylines of days one and two. But more than any other pro sports league, the NFL makes stars out of prospects pulled from the scrap heap, and rounds four through seven may produce nearly as many NFL contributors than the three rounds previous.
In the past few drafts, the fourth round has produced starters and contributors such as Oakland's Jacoby Ford, New England's Aaron Hernandez, New York's Joe McKnight, Washington's Roy Helu and Tennessee's Colin McCarthy. One of the failings of the Steve Spagnuolo-led Rams was their inability to find value in the lower rounds, and that's something they'll try and rectify starting on Saturday.
