2012 NFL Draft: Rams Add Another Offensive Weapon

Throughout the 2012 NFL Draft, the St. Louis Rams haven't been afraid to take prospects from smaller schools. After adding Brian Quick from Appalachian St., Trumaine Johnson from Montana and Greg Zuerlein from Missouri Western earlier in the draft, the Rams finished up their draft class with the addition of Daryl Richardson from Abilene Christian. Richardson has some connections at the NFL level. as his brother, Bernard Scott, plays for the Bengals.

Richardson is an outstanding athlete that put together some incredible production from the RB position during his time in college. Richardson, who ran a 4.45 40-yard dash at his pro day, ranks second in TD's, fourth in points scored and fifth in rushing yards in school history.

While he will have a chance to be the third RB behind Steven Jackson and Isaiah Pead, Richardson could have the chance to see the field as a kickoff returner.
