According to Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, the St. Louis Rams have cut ties with WR/ST Dominque Curry:
Rams inform wide receiver/special teamer Dominique Curry he is being released.— Jim Thomas (@jthom1) May 3, 2012
Curry, a graduate of California University of Pennsylvania, joined the Rams as an undrafted free agent in 2010, playing strictly on special teams in his two years with the club. He has 12 career tackles, according to NFL.com, and no receptions.
The Rams drafted two wide receivers in the 2012 NFL Draft, including their top pick, second-round choice WR Brian Quick. Additionally, the club added speedy WR Nick Johnson among their 23 undrafted free agents, reducing Curry's roster chances had the team even kept him until spring training.
