The St. Louis Rams may have tied for the worst record in the NFL in 2011, but the new regime has no doubts they have brought in the right personnel to turn the beleaguered franchise around. According to Rams executive vice president of football operations and COO, Kevin Demoff, the Rams hired new head coach Jeff Fischer brings more than experience to the team:
"One of the things that we were really looking for in the coaching search process was confidence and swagger," Demoff said on ITD Morning After on 590 The Fan. "Someone who would come in — not arrogance, there’s a difference — but someone who would come in, knows they’re going to have success, knows that what they did will work. I think when you walk into our building now, you sense the confidence."
The 2012 NFL offseason is in full swing, and come August 12 -- the preseason opener against the Indianapolis Colts -- the Rams will have a chance to test their confidence and swagger on the field.
