KSDK is reporting that DE Robert Quinn was arrested July 10 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) and two additional traffic violations. He did not spend much time in jail, however, as he posted bond that night.
Quinn is the 25th NFL player arrested in this offseason alone. The second-year pro entered the NFL in the 2011 NFL Draft, going to the Rams in the first round. Quinn played in 15 games in 2011, collecting five sacks. According to NFL analyst Ryan Van Bibber, this is not the first warning flag for Quinn:
A first-round pick out of UNC in the 2011 NFL Draft, Quinn came with some character concerns, mostly stemming from his role in that school's long list of NCAA violations.
