NFL Power Rankings: Rams Make Progress In Week 3

The St. Louis Rams are bumped up to No. 27 in the Week 3 NFL power rankings.

Presswire

The St. Louis Rams are still near the bottom of the pack in the Week 3 SB Nation NFL Power Rankings, though they might not stay this far down for long.

Following their 31-28 win over the Washington Redskins at home to improve to 1-1, the Rams were bumped up two spots to No. 27 in the power rankings this week. NFL editor Joel Thorman sees even better days ahead:

27. St. Louis Rams (LW: 29, 1-1): The Rams will end this season in the top 20 of our power rankings. The next month has three very winnable games.

The upcoming Rams schedule sees them at the Indianapolis Colts (1-1, No. 21 in the rankings), home to the Kansas City Chiefs (0-2, No. 28), at the Dallas Cowboys (1-1, No. 15) and home to the Baltimore Ravens (1-1, No. 6).

As for the rest of the NFC West, the San Francisco 49ers top the list and appear poised to win the division again. The Arizona Cardinals are the lowest 2-0 team on the list at No. 16 and the Seattle Seahawks (1-1) are at No. 23.
